Local businesses and partner organisations have been praised for supporting this year’s ResFest event for residents from Supported Living Schemes for former homeless people across North Wales.


A development of new affordable homes in Gronant St and Abbey Street was given the ‘seal of approval’ from staff at the SeaQuarium in the town last week - as two members of staff are first-time buyers while another is renting one of the properties on the development.


There’s already been a great response to Hafan Cefni the new £9.7 million extra care housing scheme currently taking shape in Llangefni and the developers behind the scheme are taking part in a drop-in information event this week for people to find out more.


Residents from Llys Ednyfed in Mochdre celebrated their renovated community garden with an official opening event last week.


Pupils from Blessed Edwards Jones RC School in Rhyl have hand-made garden planters and a bird table to donate to residents at Y Gorlan, in the town.
